Senator Alexander Announces Chattanooga Office And Staff

WASHINGTON — U.S. Sen. Lamar Alexander today announced that his Chattanooga office is up and running and has named Jeff Lewis as constituent services representative and Lyndsay Thurston Botts as his field representative. "Jeff and Lyndsay will be outstanding representatives for me in Chattanooga," Alexander said. "They will serve the people of Southeast Tennessee well, and I am glad to have the office open for business." Lewis, 31, served as campaign coordinator in Hamilton County for Alexander's 2002 senatorial campaign. For the past year, Lewis has worked as an independent financial advisor. Prior to that, he served as a financial advisor with Edward Jones Investments after working for First Tennessee Bank. For nearly five years Lewis served as an assistant with Patten and Patten Investments, Inc. "It is an honor and a privilege to serve as a representative for Senator Alexander in the city of Chattanooga, and I look forward to working together with his staff during these times we face as a nation," said Lewis. A Chattanooga native, Lewis earned a bachelor of science in business administration from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. He and his wife, Susan, live in Chattanooga with their two-month-old son Landon Alexander. Botts, 27, joins Alexander's office after being a reporter and anchor for WDSI  Fox 61 in Chattanooga. Prior to that, she worked at WTNB East Tennessee Television in Cleveland, where she gained experience as news director, anchor, reporter and host of weekly call-in show, "Women's Health Talk." "I am honored to be working for Sen. Alexander, a highly experienced and respected political leader," Botts said. "I've always had a keen interest in politics, and I love working with people. I'm looking forward to combining these two passions, and working with the wonderful people of my hometown." Also a Chattanooga native, Botts earned a bachelor of science in communications from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. Lyndsay and her husband, Kevin, live in Chattanooga.
