WASHINGTON, D.C. — U.S. Sen. Lamar Alexander has been named Chairman of the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) Caucus. "I look forward to working on a bi-partisan basis with members of the House and Senate to ensure that we keep the power on, bring good jobs to the region, keep the rates low, and focus on cleaner air." Alexander said. Alexander was unanimously confirmed as caucus chair in a meeting led by Rep. Roger Wicker (R-MS), who preceded Alexander as chairman. TVA is America's largest public power company. The Tennessee valley region includes Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia.
