WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Lamar Alexander (R-Tenn.) today released the following statement on his vote for a resolution of disapproval of the rule submitted by the Federal Communications Commission to regulate the Internet that will go into effect at the end of this month:

“The Federal Communications Commission ought to be figuring out how to expand broadband Internet access, not coming up with this massive regulatory burden for the companies we count on for innovation and job creation in our economy.”
