WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senator Lamar Alexander (R-TN), member of the Foreign Relations Committee, made the following statement today in support of Ambassador John Bolton being confirmed as the U.S. Permanent Representative to the United Nations: “Ambassador Bolton has worked closely with our friends and allies at the United Nations to address crises from Iran to North Korea to Sudan. He is serving our country admirably, and it’s time the Senate confirm this frank-talking, experienced diplomat.”
