WASHINGTON, D.C., June 8, 2016 – U.S. Sens. Lamar Alexander (R-Tenn.) and Bob Corker (R-Tenn.) today greeted veterans traveling with HonorAir Knoxville during their one-day trip to Washington, D.C.

The group of Vietnam veterans visited the World War II Memorial, the Korean War Memorial, the Vietnam Wall, the Lincoln Memorial, the Air Force and Marine Memorials, and witnessed the changing of the guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Solider at Arlington National Cemetery.

HonorAir Knoxville’s visit was made possible through donations by individuals and organizations in East Tennessee and proceeds from the April 2016 Smoky Mountain Air Show in Knoxville.
