Alexander Votes to Stop Lawsuits Against Arizona Over Immigration Law

WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Lamar Alexander (R-Tenn.) today released the following statement regarding his vote for an amendment offered by Senator Jim DeMint (R-S.C.) that would bar the use of federal funds in lawsuits to nullify the Arizona immigration law:

“Instead of suing states, the administration should focus on fixing our broken immigration system, and it should start by securing the border.”
