Alexander Statement on the Anniversary of September 11 Attacks

WASHINGTON, Sept. 11, 2015 – U.S. Senator Lamar Alexander (R-Tenn.) today released the following statement recognizing the 14th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks:

“Today we remember those who died on Sept. 11, 2001—the most devastating and significant terrorist attack in our nation’s history. We honor our Armed Forces at home and abroad protecting Americans, defending our freedom, and showing such vigilance against those who would seek to do us harm.”
